ANNOUNCEMENTS/COUNCIL ACTIVITY REPORTS. City Clerk Brenda Hoff made the following announcements: On a vote of 4-0 Council passed a motion finding that public health, welfare, and safety would be best served by having an interim City Attorney available immediatlely upon the resignation of the current City Attorney, effective December 31, 2006. Also on a vote of 4-0, Council passed a motion approving the selection of the firm of Hanley & Fleishmann to serve as the City’s interim City Attorney. 7.
