Armond Budish and William Mason This is to notify you of my resignation from my position of Chief Talent Officer with Cuyahoga County Government. Over the four years that have led the County?s Human Resources Department we have made great strides. HR staff fixed the County?s runaway healthcare cost and repositioned our healthcare plans to align with today?s employee and organizational needs, established best practices in compensation, retooled our wellness program to focus on outcomes and positive behavior change, clearly defined roles between PRC and Human Resources and established a more collaborative working relationship, drove strong workers compensation cost savings and introduced an organization-wide safety approach, led in the development of leadership competencies and established and aligned an organizational learning platform, established a talent acquisition team and significantly reduced our time to fill, established stronger collaborative relationships with our unions, and so much more. There is so much more work that needs to be done, but I believe it's time for the County to bring on its next Human Resources leader. My resignation is not because I believe I have done anything wrong, but I must ensure the sanity and health of my family, and my family must come first at this point. lam very grateful for the opportunity that has been given to me.
