What do all these conditions have in common?

Answer: A newly recognized, and until recently, poorly described issue with communication within the
brain. in a very literal sense, in every one of the above listed conditions, some aspect of the brain is
failing to communicate with another aspect of the brain.

The unknown issue is a feature of the brain called "central It is the glue that holds the brain
together. in practice, this means that there is a brain frequency, just as with a radio and a particular
station, where the brain listens in to coordinate activity. In the above named conditions, something has
happened to disrupt that station or channel. For example, in autism, the front of the brain is not
listening to the rear of the brain. in chemo-brain, the? brain fog? and clouded thinking from cancer
chemotherapy, creates a dysregulation, and uncoordinated in cases of stroke, whole areas of
the brain, while not injured, are knocked off-line, and may be unable to communicate with neighboring
healthy brain regions.

In recognizing the nature of the problem, two technologies came together to drive a new clinical
protocol. One, is the electroencephalogram, or EEG. This helps identify the channel upon which the
brain should be working. The other is Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation or TMS. TMS can stimulate the
brain at the frequency identified by EEG using a powerful magnetic field. This highly patient-specific
EEG-guided TMS is FDA approved and has a greater than 20 year track record of safety. By stimulating

at the patient-specific frequency, the brain manages to restore connections for a lasting, and
