IVR Survey Report Fielded January 14 - 18, 2020 Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation January 31, 2020 Methods and Reporting These are results from an automated phone survey to landline numbers from January 14th to 18th, 2020, conducted by Strategic Communications in 33 select Ontario Provincial Electoral Districts (list on next slide). The target quota was 300 in each riding. • Met quota in all but five ridings due to fewer listed landline phone numbers available in those ridings. The sample of 9,726 adult (18+) Ontario residents is statistically weighted to match the gender, age and region of each Provincial Electoral District as per most recent Census data. The overall margin of error for a sample of this size is +/-0.97%, 19 times out of 20. 2 List of ridings included in this research (number of completed surveys in brackets) Total completes Riding Total completes Riding Ajax 309 Milton 292 Brampton South 305 Mississauga Centre 272 Brampton West 222 Mississauga East-Cooksville 303 Brantford-Brant 303 Mississauga-Erin Mills 300 Burlington 309 Mississauga-Lakeshore 305 Cambridge 303 Mississauga-Malton 224 Don Valley North 305 Nipissing 306 Durham 303 Oakville 306 Eglinton-Lawrence 302 Ottawa West-Nepean 305 Etobicoke Centre 302 Peterborough-Kawartha 303 Etobicoke-Lakeshore 304 Pickering-Uxbridge 307 Flamborough-Glanbrook 304 Sarnia-Lambton 305 Huron-Bruce 309 Sault Ste.
