Fm: mm 8? RE: Grainy lat claim can: WM, Mary 22. 2020 3:421! PM Hi- I am unaware of any reason you would not be allowed to rent out your granny ?at. Your parcel is zoned to allow a granny ?at on your property. As long as you've gone through all the proper building permitting processes to build your granny ?at, then you are able to rent it out. I am unaware of any regulation that would prohibit you from doing so. If you?d like to learn more about all the requirements surrounding granny ?ats, the City developed a great handbook for homeowners like yourself. The handbook has great information on the City?s requirements to build a companion unit and information about ?nancing and renting. have provided the link below. Thank you again for contacting our of?ce. I hope that this information proves helpful to you. Please don?t hesitate to reach out if you have any future questions. Thank you! What are the requirements, and what is the process to get this done?
