On behalf of Otsuka and the patients that we serve, I would like to extend a note of
gratitude for your work in drafting the regulations authorizing pharmacists in the
Commonwealth of Massachusetts to administer medications for behavioral health and
substance abuse. It is clear that a great deal of thoughtfulness and consideration went
into the drafting of these regulations and, once implemented, we hope that patients will
be able to benefit from greater access to treatments and services.
Please note that we would like to be engaged in the redrafting of the regulations and
guidelines as the process moves forward.
