HELP YOUR NEIGHBORS Ventura County Public Health and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) have identified people 60 and older as high risk for COVID-19 (coronavirus). If you have been fortunate enough to secure extra supplies, including hygiene and toiletry products, sanitizers, and canned goods, please consider donating them or sharing them with neighbors who are considered high risk, especially those with limited mobility or compromised immune systems. Call or text your neighbors to see if they need assistance. Leave a note on their door or in their mailbox with your phone number in case they need to reach out to someone for help. Donations will be given to food insecure seniors and participants of the VCAAA’s Senior Nutrition Program, including homebound individuals who receive home delivered meal services.
