TO THE FAMILY OF THE LATE MR. ROBERT PONTOO:
The pastor, officers, members, and friends of Greater Christ Baptist Church, extend to you at this
hour our heartfelt sympathy. Our prayers are with you at this time as you experience the loss of
your loved one.
We regret that under the circumstances we cannot be present with you. However, we are with you
in spirit. Mr. Pontoo was a great man and one of the pillars of this church. He will be greatly
missed but will live always in our hearts.
May you find your sorrows lightened and your faith strengthened by the thought that God is
always near.
May the thoughts that others care and share your sorrow too, help ease the sense of loss you feel
and somehow comfort your heart!
May your faith sustain you in your bereavement. We want you to feel that we are very near to you
at this time. Our hearts are filled with sympathy and prayers.
