Bil .lngebri gtsen C?tsenatenm Representative Rick Hansen 407 State Office Building St. Paul, MN 55155 Representative Hansen, First and foremost, thank you for your hard work this year amid a global pandemic. We all know our state is in a truly trying time. As we move towards the conclusion of the 2020 session there is one issue that I wanted to reach out to you and let you know our intent. After much discussion amongst ourselves in the Senate we will not be pursuing a appropriations bill at this time. As stewards of the taxpayers it is financially prudent to allow that money to fall to the bottom line and be used next year when our state will most likely be facing a massive deficit. Furthermore, as there were no official recommendations this year there is less agreement and therefore less desire to appropriate the dollars. If you have any questions, please let me and my staff know. I look fonlvard to a cordial end of session. Stay safe.
