Per the below article link, Butte Counties announced on the afternoon of Friday, May 8, 2020 that most
businesses would be allowed to re-open with the safety guidelines relative to COVID-19 to be followed.
In summary, based on the extremely low amount of COVID-19 cases in Butte County.

Based on the fact that there is huge demand for the goods and services that our stores have to offer,
our tentative hours will be Monday-Saturday, 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.

We are rebranding the center to Chico Marketplace! This new branding is consistent with our future
retail opportunities.
Plans are also in place for the installation of a brand-new 57-foot-tall pylon sign advertising Chico
Marketplace and our tenants to travelers along the Highway 99 corridor.

Rebranding of Property
We are rebranding the property from being called “Chico Mall” to “Chico Marketplace”. This rebranding
is consistent with our future retail opportunities and remodeling of the property as well.
New Tenants
We are in negotiations with five larger, exciting national tenants who will be great additions to Chico
Marketplace and will be a significant benefit to the Chico community.
We should be able to announce these new tenants in the next 1-2 months.
We’re very excited about everything that’s happening at Chico Marketplace and look forward to seeing
CM continue to offer more and better goods and services for the Chico community!
