Picente, Jr. Re -Ope ning ToolK it Che ck lis t The goal of any reopening plan is to provide a safe workplace for your employees and customers as everyone comes back online. The following checklist can be replicated in all reopening plans, but they are only a guidelines and in some cases, they are a starting point in developing your own reopening plan. Any list outlined below could be expanded upon to help in the drafting and execution of your reopening. Select a Site Coordinator This person(s) could do any of the following: help draft a plan, maintain the plan and keep the plan up to date on policy changes. Try and include the following Contact Information List of duties Any other information helpful in the On-site Coordinator selection process. Assess Your Personnel List out who is essential on-site and who could work remotely. Review and include updates to your human resources policies. Outline social distancing policies. Outline leave policies. Develop a training plan. Consider Teleworking. Prescreen employees Policy Any other helpful related policies. Assess Essential Functions Consider listing the following items in your plan: List essential functions on-site. List functions that could be carried out remotely (if possible) Write a list of operations that could be suspended if necessary. Write a list of necessary supplies. Include any other important information. Assess Your Facility Develop a list of services and tasks to ensure your business/organization is ready for opening. Write a checklist of Services that need to be resumed before reopening: gas, electric, janitorial etc. Develop and write in your plan vendor protocols for any services that require in person engagement. List essential supplies and identify potential alternative suppliers during times of high demand. Sanitization Protocols List items or surfaces that are necessary, unnecessary and replaceable to the basic function of the facility. Write out how each type of surface should be cleaned (Hard (nonporous) Surfaces and Soft (porous) Surfaces. Write out how Laundry and Electronics should be sanitized. Identify PPE necessary for Cleaning Personnel. Identify PPE necessary for Cleaning Personnel. Customer Engagement List the policies that have been created or changed and how they will be communicated. Create a signage plan. It may be helpful to locate near doors and other high traffic areas. Create a physical separation to protect employees and customers. Educate Your Employees Provide internal signage to alert coworkers. Provide remote workers with a list of free resources to stay healthy and active at home. Provide pre-recorded safety training videos for customer-facing activities.
