AL 38130-1501 June 1, 2011 Ulysses Oliver, Jr., CD Tutwilel' Prison for Women Wetumpka, AL 36092 Dear Mr. Oliver: After having reviewed the recommendation of Warden Frank Albright, your waiver of a due process disciplinary hearing and your overall work record, you are hereby suspended without pay for a period of two (2) days to be effective June 13, 2011 through June 14, 2011 inclusive. On February 14, 2011, you were assigned as the Perimeter Security Officer at the Tutwiler Prison for Women Annex. At approximately 2:40 8.111., the Lieutenant was conducting security post checks on the perimeter when he observed you with your head tilted back and you appeared to be sleeping. The Lieutenant observed you for approximately two (2) minutes. When the Lieutenant knocked on the vehicle's window, you opened your eyes in an incoherent manner. You were given a break and relieved of your perimeter duties. Your actions constitute a violation of the following standards under Administrative Regulation 208, Employees Standards of Conduct and Discipline: 1. Employees shall render full, efficient, and industrious service. (Section V, Paragraph A2) 2. Employees shall observe all laws, rules and regulations. (Section V, Paragraph 3. Each employee?s conduct shall, at all times, be consistent with the maintenance of proper security and welfare of the institution and of the inmates under hisfher supervision.
