This is an update regarding [per notifications for comma entry screenings. Please circulate it to state epidemiology
staffers.

Epi-X notlneatlons with entry screening data were not sent out on Monday (2/11/1020) while we made changes to
Improve data quality. Today, you will see several changes to the Excel file attached to mix notifications. We
understandthere may he challenges foryou when the Epicx format changes. Thank you for your patience. We hope that
the new data format will provide you With better, more complete data for monitoring.

During thistransition, you may find duplicate records forthe same traveler. For instance, you may receive a notification
for a passenger you already received on 2/15/2020 with a different DGMQID. We recommend using today's notification
for duplicates. Passengers' contact information is updated in the notifications you receive today.

in addition, notifications irom today (2/13/1020) may he sent throughout the day (not at 9AM and am, as usual).
We plan to resume 9AM and 4PM distribution as soon as possihle.
