Event is scheduled to occur at 867 S. Parkway E., @ 1800hrs  Candlelight Vigil, Civil Rights Museum, 450 Mulberry @ 2000hrs. Prepared by: Detective Tim Reynolds UNCLASSIFIED//LAW ENFORCEMENT SENSITIVE  Crime Stoppers received a tip that Jeremy Johnson was trying to recruit people in Memphis to recreate a Dallas, Texas style shooting in Memphis (Crime Stopper Tip Number 18209). The tipster provided a picture of a FaceBook post under the name of Yrc Rozay (see attached picture). Post from Tipster Facebook profile pic for Yrc Rozay MPD/OHS conducted a follow-up on Tip Number 18209 and was able to corroborate some of the information provided by the tipster. Jeremy Johnson was identified through police databases as Jeremy Johnson (DOB , SSN , SCSO Jail Number ) with a last known address of 1716 Dupont. Johnson has an extensive drug arrest history and was listed as a suspect in an armed robbery (MPD 1503015265ME). There were approximately 75-100 people that attended this event. Triggs has no police reports on file and only a misdemeanor arrest history with the last arrest 1/20/1999 (Booking Number 99103473). MPD / OHS will continue to monitor Triggs’ Facebook page for any new posts that are similar to the one that was received in this complaint.  With the exception of Crime Stoppers Tip 18209 about Jeremy Johnson there are no specific social media threats to Memphis Police officers at this time.  In the late night / early morning hours of 7/9/2016 Nathan Bedford Forrest’s statue was vandalized. “Black Lives Matter” was sprayed on the southern side of the monument. Evidence was left at the scene that is being processed by Crime Scene (MPD Report Number 1607004346ME). The graffiti was removed this morning, an overt camera, and directed are in place near the monument.  At approximately 1430 hrs Lt. Goods and the MGU located Jeremy Johnson (Crime Stopper Tip 18209). Triggs apologized for his FB post and advised this will never happen again.
