DEFENDANTS’ MOTION FOR STAY PENDING APPEAL
Defendants respectfully move, pursuant to Tenn. R. Civ. P. 62.03 and 62.06, for a stay
pending appeal of this Court’s June 4, 2020 Memorandum and Order issuing a temporary

 injunction. Defendants seek immediate appellate review of the Court’s injunction, and a stay is
needed to maintain the status quo pending appeal. 1 Under Tenn. R. Civ. P. 62.06, no stay or cost
bond or other security shall be required. Additionally, given the exigencies of this matter, the
Defendants respectfully ask the Court to decide this motion without argument and without
requiring further briefing for either side.
This motion is supported by an accompanying memorandum of law.
