Dear Governor'DeSantis:
SUBJECT: PHASE 2 RE-OPENING REQUEST

Thank you for your continued leadership and the opportunity to request
consideration of the reopening provisions of Section 4. of Executive Order
20-139. This letter is a request pursuant to Section 1.8. to apply Section 4.
provisions to Palm Beach County.

After careful consideration of conditions and indicators related to the spread
of Palm Beach County is requesting application of the Section
4. provisions. We would, however, request that we be allowed to delay the
opening of bars for a limited period of time. This delay will help ensure that
bars can open safely in this environment and law enforcement resources
are available for compliance monitoring. Additionally, we would like to
continue to review and approve plans for re-opening of entertainment
businesses. That process has worked well and the resulting plans have
been stronger and more protective of public health.

additional information concerning this request.
