InstruCtion is given in boating and canoeing but only boys who have passed the required tesrs are permitted to handle boats alone. Counselors accompany non-swimmers in special boating periods. Crew races, canoe tilts and sailing races between cabin groups are part of the special waterfront program. From the camp waterfront all parts of Lake Amy Belle are visible and easily accessible, thus providing a fine com- bination for borh safety and good sport. spatial Events . . . During every camp period there are one or more of the "special days" when the usual program of hikes, trips and Sports is put aside for gala hours of "all out fun" packed with surprises and new treats.
