Chairman Taylor called the meeting to order at 11:00 AM.
Roll was taken and all members were present.
The meeting was to determine if the filed ethic complaint was valid. The complaint was filed
by Representative Clel Baudler against Aaron Dorr, Executive Director of the Iowa Gun
Owners in regard to lobbying.
The meeting stood at ease for both parties to caucus at 11:05 AM
The meeting reconvened at 11:52 AM.
Chairman Taylor opened the committee to comments on the filed complaint and discussion
followed.
Representative Thede moved that the complaint be dismissed and Representative Baxter
seconded the motion. The motion to dismiss passed on a vote of 6 ayes to 0 no.
As there was no additional business to come before the committee, Representative Lundgren
moved to arise at 12:34 PM.
