have had the great privilege of sewing the community of West. Chester and the employees of West Chester Township for
nearly twenty-one yezu's, and for that I am eternally grateful. I have had the opportunity to lead and work alongside countless
individuals of excellence in the police department and the public. So it is with deep sadness that I must tender my
resignation and notice of retirement, effective immediately. I believe this is the only option left that protects my fzunily, my
health, and my career without compromising my values. It is unfortunate to have been treated this way for taking a
plincipled stance and others may fear coming folward in the future as a result. Please let this letter save as my formal

retirement from the Department effective immediately.
