This SITREP covers the period from 1500 CST, 30 May 2020 through 1900 CST, 30 May 2020. A number has been created for the MACC for Law Enforcement requests for National Guard assistance. Please call (612) 626-6156. INCIDENT The MACC received unconfnmed reports of extremist group activity in Mirmesota related to civil unrest. No con?rmed imagery of logos. patches. or markings related possible extremist activity has been received. Please submit any imagery you encormter to your organization?s MACC representative or through the avenue in which you received this SITREP. Minnesota Department of Transportation armounced closures of Interstate 35W. Interstate 35E. Interstate 94. Interstate 394 and Highway 55 beginning 1900 hours. 0 Two hundred to 250 individuals threw rocks at the Bernidji Sheriff? 5 of?ce building. The building and vehicles which were in a lot were also damaged. The group dispersed on their own and are cmrently walking arormd the city and being monitored. Multiple support agencies en route to provide aid. ENFORCEMENT SENSITIVE ENFORCEMENT SENSITIVE INTELLIGENCE UPDATES The MACC has received reporting from of?cers across the metro area indicating the possibility they are being followed to or from their of?ces or residence. 0 The MACC encom?ages all agents. of?cers. and administrative staff. regardless of their agency. to remain vigilant. situationally aware of their srurormdings. and operationally secru'e at all times. Doing so includes noting suspicious persons and/or vehicles: secruing vehicles. valuables. and fn?earms: and varying daily routines to and from work. Fmther. while recent online chatter speci?cally discusses targeting the four MPD of?cers. individuals may seek to harm any law enforcement personnel. Any local law enforcement agencies encountering activity or information indicative of potential threats toward law enforcement personnel. should report details to their MACC representative. 0 Potential white supremacist extremist propaganda was discovered near the MACC . Reporting from Ohio indicates electrical substations were targeted overnight Friday. Protesters were working in the dark and just missed the kill switch for power to portions of the downtown area of Columbus. OH. 0 reports information from Atlanta riots indicates rioters are pouring gasoline in the street and attempting to lure of?cers and ignite the gasoline to injure and trap of?cers responding to rioting groups 0 Minneapolis-based leader of an identi?ed black separatist group. is in possession of a fn?earm. He is with 15 other members of the same group. ?om different parts of the US. and a majority of those individuals are also felons in possession of a fn'earm. They were also in Ferguson. MO. 0 Open soru'ces are reporting Gangster Disciples are calling for the 4th Precinct to be the next target. NFI. Several individuals that have been involved in criminal activities during this time of civil unrest are from out-of-state. Many have been driving vehicles without license plates. It is requested that if officers stop a vehicle with covered/removed plates or with out of state plates. please forward details of the stop to MPDMutalaid@state.mn.us. The MACC is attempting to verify the validity and/or credibility of numerous reports of threats to widespread areas of the Twin Cities. This information has surfaced mentioning corrections facilities. stadiums. ?the suburbs?. etc. The large majority of this information remains unconfnmed. unsubstantiated or has not materialized. The majority of this information is circulating on social media platforms and has no substantive basis.
