ATLANTIC YARDS aka Pacific Park Brooklyn Construction Update Weeks of June 29 and July 6, 2020 During this reporting period: LIRR Yard Activities – West Block 1120 & East Block 1121 ● Site demobilization, including material and equipment removal will continue. LIRR Yard Activities – Night/Weekend Work ● Day shift, weekend and night work will continue. Work will include electrical punch-list closeout, train toilet servicing maintenance and repairs, site demobilization, and track restoration work. B15 ● The concrete superstructure program is in progress. ● Within the building, mechanical trades are installing materials / systems in the cellar and will be continuing this program up the building as the work progresses. In addition, layout and construction of rooms in the cellar has begun with masonry and carpentry trades working in tandem. ● Protocols and facilities have been put in place to ensure an orderly, safe workplace in accordance with current government requirements and permits, which include weekday start times at 7 AM and lasting until 7 PM and Saturday permits starting at 8 AM until 5 PM B4 ● The concrete superstructure program is in progress. ● Underground utilities work will continue on Atlantic Avenue along with hoist erection. ● Within the building mechanical trades are installing materials / systems in the cellar and will be continuing this program up the building as the work progresses. In addition, layout and construction of rooms in the cellar has begun with masonry and carpentry trades working in tandem. ● Protocols and facilities have been put in place to ensure an orderly, safe workplace in accordance with current government requirements and permits, which include weekday start times at 7 AM and lasting until 7 PM and Saturday permits starting at 8 AM until 5 PM. B12 & B13 ● Installation of site fence work continues and is expected to be completed during the week of June 29. 1 ● Excavation and foundation work is expected to commence during this reporting period. Appropriate dust and noise mitigation measures will be in place prior to commencement of work. The cost of any windows and any air conditioning units, and the cost of their installation, would be borne by the Developer. The locations that may be eligible at this time are the residential sites in proximity to site construction and identified in the 2006 Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) or the 2014 Final Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (FSEIS) as having the potential to experience significant adverse noise impacts during the construction of the Pacific Park Brooklyn project.
