2020-2021 School Year Planning Framework Lincoln County Schools Reopening Plan The Lincoln County Schools’ Reopening Plan focuses on the requirements and strategies necessary during the reopening of the 2020-21 school year. This plan is built upon the guidance and recommendations of health officials and is strongly aligned to the reopening guidelines that have been provided by our state and federal leaders. The reopening plan prioritizes the health and safety of students and teachers as we open the school buildings and deliver instruction during the 2020-2021 school year. A tiered approach with clear, actionable steps that are applicable throughout the upcoming school year has been developed to address varied levels of covid cases that may exist within the county at any given time throughout the school year. Continued guidance and recommendations will be provided to address the academic, social, and emotional effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on students and employees. While the safety of our students and staff will be our top priority, it is important to note that some level of risk of infection will be present when attending schools.
