Surveillance Ordinance: Facial Recognition Technology and Predictive Policing (PD) (continued)     Authorize the Mayor to establish a working group to review Santa Cruz Police practices which can contain up to two other Councilmembers, and establish a Mayor’s Community Advisory Committee to review Santa Cruz Police policy and, in conjunction with the community, bring back recommendations that strengthens our Police Department’s commitment to eliminate racism, discrimination, and excessive use of force in policing in the City of Santa Cruz and improve the relationship between City of Santa Cruz Police Officers and the community.
