LIRR Yard Activities – West Block 1120 & East Block 1121

Site demobilization, including material and equipment removal will continue.

●

The concrete superstructure program is in progress. Topping out of the building is expected to be completed in
August.

●

Within the building, mechanical trades are installing materials / systems up the building. In addition to layout and
construction of floors with masonry and carpentry trades working in tandem. Work on the exterior brick facade of
the building continues.

●

Protocols and facilities have been put in place to ensure an orderly, safe workplace in accordance with current
government requirements and permits, which include weekday start times at 7 AM and lasting until 7 PM and
Saturday permits starting at 8 AM until 5 PM.

Underground utilities work will continue on Atlantic Avenue along with hoist erection.

●

Mechanical trades are installing materials / systems up the building as the work progresses. Layout and construction
of floors continues, and work on the exterior facade will commence with masonry and carpentry trades working in
tandem.

●

Protocols and facilities have been put in place to ensure an orderly, safe workplace in accordance with current
government requirements and permits, which include weekday start times at 7 AM and lasting until 7 PM and
Saturday permits starting at 8 AM until 5 PM.

●

Excavation and Foundation Subcontractor may mobilize the week of July 27, and may deliver oversized equipment
(i.e. drill rigs, excavators, etc.) during early morning hours.

Noise Receptor Control Program
You may be eligible to receive and have installed double paned or storm windows and an in-window air conditioning
unit for certain residential units where such air conditioning and/or double paned windows/storm windows do not exist
today. The cost of any windows and any air conditioning units, and the cost of their installation, would be borne by the
Developer.
The locations that may be eligible at this time are the residential sites in proximity to site construction and identified in
the 2006 Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) or the 2014 Final Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement
(FSEIS) as having the potential to experience significant adverse noise impacts during the construction of the Pacific Park
Brooklyn project.
