?hunc(53lH Jib-?550. (510)310-4554 July 27, 2020 WaterWorks Park has been working closely with the Health Department and Health and Human Services over the last several months. We decided to open two weeks later than normal and have followed all the CDC and Covid-19 guidelines. In the Health Department and Health and Human Services previous statements to the Press, they have said that they would work with local businesses to educate and give best practices for Covid-19. With this knowledge we decided on July 15 to close a full month early from our normal closing date, which is usually Labor Day weekend. We are surprised and dismayed with the Health and Human Services department's recent decision, therefore we will be appealing this decision and closing August 2"d as previously proposed. It is very difficult for small businesses to operate in an environment in which there is always a moving target. As previously stated we intend to close August We are doing our best to supply a safe and fun environment for Shasta County families. We appreciate the support of the community.
