REOPENING PLAN
ABRIDGED VERSION

OUR PRIORITIES
Our greatest priority is and will always be to
provide our students and staff with a

educationally sound

safe

and

learning environment. As

long as public health data allows, our plan ensures
that The Sherman School can

remain open for all

students, every single day .

But don't worry, we

have additional plans in the event that health
conditions will not allow us to open safely.

SAFETY
The CDC, DPH, and local health/medical advisors have
suggested that we implement the following strategies, to
the greatest extent possible, to mitigate the spread of
the coronavirus:

Cohorting : Keeping groups away from other groups
Face Coverings : Worn daily by all in K-8, with breaks
Social Distancing : 6' separation at all times possible
Personal Hygiene : Washing and sanitizing hands

BLENDED LEARNING
We can achieve a safe and educationally sound
learning environment by shifting from a traditional
approach of delivering instruction to a Blended
