Mr. Davis,

I was informed that there may be some concerns that have arisen concerning the facility and our COVID-
19 situation. I wanted to provide you a brief update as to what is happening.

. Our contract requires ICA to remain in compliance with all laws, to include health laws;

. While the Town of Farmville contracts with ICE, we rely on third parties with the relevant
expertise to inspect and determine compliance;

. ICA and Farmville Detention Center have always been a good partner and complied with all
requirements, including passing our past 7 ICE audits with a 100% compliance rating;

- ICA is in strict compliance with all Federal, state and local health care regulations;

. There has been an upswell in positive cases due mainly to the in?ux of transfers from out of state;

. ICA has been working diligently with the local Prince Edward County Health Department to
ensure accurate and timely mass testing and screening of all detainees and employees;

. The majority of cases are with individuals exhibiting only
mild and all cases are in stable condition;

. Twice daily screening continues, with medical staff checking Vitals and temperatures of detainees
several times a daynearly double the national building code standard for individuals per bathroom,
ensuring individuals in the facility have even greater access to handwashing and sanitation. The
facility also rented and purchased additional hand-washing stations for the housing units to
facilitate even more opportunities for hand hygiene;

. No new detainees are currently being accepted at the facility until such time as the case numbers
decrease;
