The Cit of Na les + NCH Healthcare S stem Educational Initiative
As leaders in Naples during this pandemic, NCH Healthcare System and The City of
Naples will partner for the next 90 -120 days to launch a comprehensive educational
initiative directed at mask wearing, social distancing and best hygiene practices to
continue to combat COVID-19.

The theme will be: "All Heroes Wear Masks: It's our Responsibility to Help Save Lives.
Weara Mask. Be a Hero."
During the first 30 days we will launch the initiative with the following activities:
» Mayor and NCH CEO Paul Hiltz will film several PublicService Announcements
o Mayor and CEO Hiltz and Dr. Kristin Mascotti, Chief Medical Officer, will facilitate
two live Zooms event that will be also recorded for distribution.

Mayor, CEO Hiltz and Chamber of Commerce CEO Michael Dalbywill facilitate
one live Zoom event

o

Video footage of Naples Community members wearing masks (moms,
grandfathers, kids, police officers, bakers, construction workers, firefighters etc.)
in prominent locations in Naples (i. e. beach, in front of courthouse etc. ) to be
produced for commercials and digital spots.
Develop creative pieces with photos focusing on historic community and
beaches.

Campaign website will launch (links to both City of Naples and NCH Healthcare
with resources to the Chamber of Commerce business toolkits).
Public Relations including press tool kit, media releases, media relations and PR
events

Media will include radio, TV, outdoor, social media, pole banners, signs at
beachesand airport
Budget is $200, 000
o City of Naples contributes $50, 000
o NCH Healthcare System contributes $150, 000
The initiative will conclude with a Health Fair and free mask distribution in Camber Park
later in the fall.
