Covid Task Force Forms New Health and Wellness Initiative
in Response to Covid-19
Containment Initiative Includes At-Home Testing ProgramHays County First to Allow Test in Texas
(Austin, TX) MDBox announces the formation of the Covid Task Force Initiative
which will bring more than 50-thousand Covid-19 test kits to Hays County now, with
additional kits arriving this week and throughout the crisis. The kits will be sold and
distributed online only through H-E-B.
“Our team has developed a program for municipalities to test community members for
Covid-19 and other, more common ailments without exposing themselves to
overcrowded healthcare centers and having to leave the comfort of their own home.”
Said Kyle Hayungs, Chief Executive Officer of MRG Medical and founder of Covid Task
Force. “This partnership will provide a detailed community health needs analysis and
risk assessment, which will assist in the containment initiatives and further enhance the
wellness of Hays County for the support and response to the coronavirus pandemic.”
The test availability is a result of Hays County Judge and Director of Emergency
Management Ruben Becerra lifting the FDA ban to release the test. More counties in
Texas are expected to follow suit.
In addition to testing resources, The COVID-19 Taskforce will also provide emergency
management consulting guidance, software and physical devices to Hays County executives to aid
in their efforts for containment and management of the COVID-19 pandemic in this current state
of emergency.

How It Works:
A licensed healthcare provider analyzes the results of the testing during a live video
telemedicine visit through the MDBox app, available in the Apple and Android Google
Play stores.
