DATE: August 27, 2020 TO: ALL EMPLOYEES FROM: PERSONNEL SERVICES DEPARTMENT SUBJECT: NOTIFICATION OF AN EMPLOYEE TESTING POSITIVE FOR COVID-19 This notification is being made in accordance with Fresno Municipal Code Section 2514(m). Yesterday, Management received confirmation a City of Fresno employee tested positive for COVID-19. The employee’s last day at their worksite was August 12, 2020. The following actions and protocols were followed prior to the confirmation of the positive test in accordance with local Public Health Officer Orders: o As per standard City practice, a risk assessment was conducted by the Healthy Workplace Task Force and all possible known contacts were advised and have been provided with instructions for quarantine where necessary. o All standard City cleaning and sanitizing protocols continue to be followed. Additional deep cleaning was completed, where necessary. o Based on contact tracing, the City’s Healthy Workplace Task Force determined the employee visited the following work location(s): City Facilities located in Northwest City field work in the area of Northwest o Management has followed up with the employee throughout the selfisolation period.
