Former Mayor Don Atchison has an announcement to make regarding the upcoming
Saskatoon municipal election.

Don Atchison is a well-known individual. Besides serving as the mayor ofSaskatoon
from 2003 - 2016 and a councilor from 1994 - 2003 he and his father have been well
known small business owners in the city for many years.

Don was born and raised in Saskatoon where he attended Queen Elizabeth and
Holliston elementary schools, 1Walter Murray Collegiate and the University of
Saskatchewan. He and his wife Mardele have five children and thirteen
grandchildren. He was appointed to the Saskatchewan Order of Merit in 2019.
