Dear Dr. Robinson:
Let this letter serve as an official written reprimand against Superintendent of Stratford
Public Schools, Dr. Robinson from the Stratford Board of Education for the following:
a. Poor/ineffective communication
b. The giving of misinformation to board members
Evidence of the above issues include, but are not limited to:
 Spending money on programs that are not yet approved by the board (i.e.,
RULER)
 Communication issues
 Making budgetary decisions without board approval
 Inaccurate information: Stated she consulted attorney before signing MOU when
she did not
 Negotiating contracts without board approval (COO & Durham Bus Company)
 Failing to provide contract information prior to offering and signing which
negates board’s financial oversight.
The purpose of the Stratford Board of Education is “to improve the education of our
children, provide for their safety, and to advocate for them and their best interests.” The
non-performance of the superintendent impacts this purpose.
