6/5/13 Additional Statements from Staffing Network If the story includes reference to candidate arrival times at Staffing Network branch offices we request that the following statements be included in their entirety: o o o Staffing Network temporary employees are not required to come to Staffing Network branch offices to secure daily job assignments. Once candidates are in our system, have completed the appropriate paperwork and are eligible for job placement, they may call our branch offices about job opportunities for that day and request callbacks when jobs become available. Some candidates instead choose to come to branch offices in person to inquire about job opportunities for that day or to take Staffing Network-provided transportation to job sites. That is their choice and is not a requirement for job placement. Many Staffing Network employees go directly to their work sites and do not come to branch offices on daily basis. For example, the vast majority of our employees at our Hanover Park, Illinois office go directly to their job sites on most days, without first passing through the Staffing Network office. Employees are welcome, but never required, to use our complimentary shuttle service, which operates on a predictable, set schedule, just like public transportation. If the story includes reference to why Staffing Network doesn't provide more advanced notice of job opportunities we request that the following statements be included in their entirety: o As a temporary staffing firm, it is typically very difficult for Staffing Network to know in advance/the day before what job openings will be available the following day. Our clients' staffing needs can vary day-to-day, as do the number of temporary employees who show up for work, which makes the number of daily job openings variable. When we can notify employees in advance of job openings, we do so. If the story includes reference to fees charged for transportation provided by Staffing Network, we request that the following statements be included in their entirety: o Staffing Network does not charge employees for transportation to or from job sites in Staffing Network vans. We provide free transportation as a convenience for employees and we do not require any employee to take Staffing Network-provided transportation to or from our client locations. If the story includes reference to opportunities for Staffing Network temporary employees to secure permanent employment we request that the following statements be included in their entirety: 1 o o All Staffing Network temporary and full-time employees are free to apply - without any restrictions by Staffing Network --for permanent positions at our client companies at any time. They are never penalized for doing so. We do not charge long-term clients additional fees if they hire our employees for permanent positions. In fact, when our clients hire our temporary employees into permanent positions we see it as a testament to the fact that we are placing quality candidates in the right jobs. If the story includes reference to allegations by Brian Lucas of racial discrimination by Staffing Network: o Staffing Network vehemently denies any claims of discrimination. We operate in full compliance with the letter and spirit of all Federal and State laws and regulations. We consider all qualified candidates without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, gender, age, or any other characteristic protected by law, and every day we hire and place candidates from diverse backgrounds. ### 2
