During this proposed progression plan, we will remain in pods and continue with the practice capacity restrictions set forth. We feel this progression plan will provide our student-athletes with some hope that we are planning to play when it is safe to do so and with proper protocols in place. Please review the sports specific guidelines for football in the attached document or click on the link below and reference pages 10-13 for football specific guidelines. These protocols presented by the Wisconsin Athletic Department demonstrate how we can safely prepare for football without contact while in pads and while using equipment providing us the needed guidance to have equity in implementation with fidelity. https://www.wiaawi.org/Portals/0/PDF/Health/Covid/WIAA-SummerGuide-SportSpecific.pdf We have proposed 3 contingency plans that can be put in place by the re-entry task force that will provide our student-athletes with the hopes of playing a season if and when it is safe for us to return to play. Please consider these plans and know that we as coaches have made thoughtful considerations with the health and safety of our student-athletes paramount and maintain their hopes and prospects of playing and competing this season. Thank you for your time and consideration. Please review the 3 proposals that will be shared.
