Supported Devices:​ Desktop computers and laptop computers only (the use of tablets and other mobile devices, including phones shall not be supported nor permitted in the NLAT 2020). Operating System:​ Window 7 or above (Windows 10 recommended) (Examination system will not run on any other operating systems, such as Mac OS, Linux, etc.) Minimum Configuration:​ Processor: Core 2 Duo and above; Processor speed: 1.5 GHz and above; RAM: minimum 1 GB. Browser:​ Google Chrome (84.0.4147.135 or later) only. ​Click here​ to download the latest version of Google Chrome. The user account must have administrator privileges to install required applications. Pop-up blockers on the web browser must be disabled. Java Script must be enabled. Antivirus must be disabled. Minimum Internet Bandwidth:​ 1 Mbps minimum; the remote proctoring software streams exam data, including audio and video, directly to the cloud as you take the NLAT 2020. In order to allow the continuous transfer of exam data, the specified minimum connection speed must be maintained at all times. Ensure system time is set in accordance with Indian Standard Time (GMT +5:30). Integrated webcam mandatorily required. The examination system should be permitted access (if requested) to the camera during the examination. The webcam must have a minimum resolution of 640x480. The examination system shall not permit the use of video conferencing services, screen sharing/ remote screen projection services, virtual machines, etc.; in the event, the system detects attempts to use such tools or services, the candidate may be disqualified from the examination. Integrated microphone mandatorily required. The examination system should be permitted access (if requested) to the microphone during the examination. Use of wired/ wireless headphones/ earphones/ other audio devices shall not be permitted. Candidates must download and install the “Safe Assessment Browser (SAB) Tool” – registered candidates shall be provided with a link to download the SAB tool in advance of the examination. *****
