THE MINNEHAHA COUNTY GRAND JURY CHARGES:

COUNT 1
That the Defendant, JAHENNESSY DEUNIQUE LAPAUL BRYANT, RAYMOND CHARLES BANKS, in
Minnehaha County. State of South Dakota, on or about the 26th day of February, 2020, did commit the
public offense of Murder in the First Degree (SDCL in that the Defendant did kill a human
being, CASEY BONHORST, while engaged in the perpetration or attempted perpetration of the crime of
ROBBERY contrary to the form of the statute in such case made and provided and against the peace
and dignity of the State of South Dakota, and prays that the Defendant may be arrested and dealt with
according to the law.

COUNT 2
That the Defendant, JAHENNESSY DEUNIQUE LAPAUL BRYANT, RAYMOND CHARLES BANKS, in
Minnehaha County, State of South Dakota, on or about the 26th day of February, 2020, did commit the
public offense of Murder in the First Degree (SDCL in that the Defendant did kill a human
being, CASEY BONHORST, without authority of law and with a premeditated design to effect the death
of the person killed or of any other human being, contrary to the form of the statute in such case made
and provided and against the peace and dignity of the State of South Dakota, and prays that the
Defendant may be arrested and dealt with according to the law.

COUNT 3
That the Defendant, JAHENNESSY DEUNIQUE LAPAUL BRYANT, RAYMOND CHARLES BANKS, in
Minnehaha County, State of South Dakota, on or about the 26th day of February, 2020, did commit the
public offense of Murder in the Second Degree (SDCL 22-16-7), in that the Defendant did kill a human
being, CASEY BONHORST, by perpetrating an act imminently dangerous to others and evincing a
depraved mind, regardless of human life, although without any premeditated design to effect the death
of any particular person, contrary to the form of the statute in such case made and provided and
against the peace and dignity of the State of South Dakota, and prays that the Defendant may be

arrested and dealt with according to the law.

COUNT 4
That the Defendant, JAHENNESSY DEUNIQUE LAPAUL BRYANT, RAYMOND CHARLES BANKS, in
Minnehaha County, State of South Dakota, on or about the 26th day of February, 2020, did commit the
public offense of Manslaughter in the First Degree (SDCL in that the Defendant did kill a
human being, CASEY BONHORST, without any design to effect death, but by means of a dangerous
weapon, A GUN contrary to the form of the statute in such case made and provided and against the
peace and dignity of the State of South Dakota, and prays that the Defendant may be arrested and
dealt with according to the law.

COUNT 5
That the Defendant, JAHENNESSY DEUNIQUE LAPAUL BRYANT, RAYMOND CHARLES BANKS, in
Minnehaha County, State of South Dakota, on or about the 26th day of February. 2020, did ATTEMPT
TO commit the public offense of Robbery (First Degree) (SDCL 22-30-1, SDCL 22-30-63,
and 22-30-7) and (SDCL 22-4-1)in that the Defendant did ATTEMPT TO intentionally take personal
property, MONEY, in the possession of CASEY BONHORST, regardless of value and from his person
or immediate presence, and against his will, which was accomplished by the use of force or fear of
force by putting the victim in fear of an injury, immediate or future, to the person or property of the victim
or of any relative or family member of the victim, and did so by means of a dangerous weaponphysical object simulating a dangerous weapon, namely A GUN contrary to the form of
the statute in such case made and provided and against the peace and dignity of the State of South
Dakota, and prays that the Defendant may be arrested and dealt with according to the law.
