Federal Aged Care Minister Richard Colbeck
Mr Barnier has been a member of the ACFA since 2013 and brings substantial sector-wide
knowledge as well as a thorough understanding of the finance and business elements of
aged care.
It was these attributes that saw his re-appointment in 2019 and his engagement to undertake
his current role with for the Department.
He continues to serve an important role in ensuring the needs of senior Australians in care
are prioritised.
