Tuesday, June 25, 2013 Dear Mr. Albanese: New York Daily News, Transparency Project launched a new effort to help create greater accountability in our schools, and to pass legislation stalled in Albany that would give the New York City Department of Education (DOE) the authority to remove teachers accused of sexual misconduct from the classroom. Given the critical importance of protecting our children from sexual predators, we hope you will take a few minutes to complete the very simple, very short survey below to help inform the voters how you would handle this issue should you be elected Mayor.
